My husband and I discovered Lake Anna in 1993, purchasing a waterfront lot with the long term goal of building a house and retiring to Lake Anna.  We’ve spent almost every weekend since enjoying quality time with our two boys and their friends, teaching them to water ski and wakeboard.  We found that the lake makes you play together outdoors and creates a wealth of fond family memories.  The lake is a natural gathering place for wonderful get-togethers with family and friends.  Our weekends found us spending our days outdoors, and our evenings leisurely enjoying the sunset and counting the stars around a campfire.

In 2004, after 30 years of working in the corporate world and 23 years living in Northern Virginia, I was looking for a quality of life improvement.   Lake Anna was calling to me, and I decided to make it my full time home.  I had discovered a different lifestyle at the lake where I really enjoyed life in a whole new way, and I wanted to help others discover the Lake Anna lifestyle for themselves.  

Real Estate combines my interests and strengths along with my delight in meeting new people.  After I studied for my Real Estate License, I quickly learned that there is far more involved in being a good Realtor® beyond the basic training.  In order to best serve my clients, I felt the need to pursue a higher level of training.  Consequently, I am one of a minority of agents who has studied and earned the Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI), the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), as well as the Resort, the Second Home Property Specialist (RSPS), and the Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) designations.  I want to be a better agent with the knowledge and training to look out for the best interests of my clients.
