I would want to make sure that you understand the difference between Waterfront Homes and Water Access Homes, as well as Waterfront lots and Water Access lots.  We would explore the three counties that border the lake, Louisa County, Spotsylvania County and Orange County, and that the lake was created in the mid 1970’s to cool a Nuclear Power Plant.  The function of the power plant means that the lake is divided into two parts, known as the Public Side and the Private Side.  There is great fishing at the Lake which brings popular fishing tournaments, including exciting Bass Fishing Tournaments.  Water Sports are immensely popular and many competitive skiers and wakeboarders enjoy our waters.
